Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 garlic gloves finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Sautee onions and garlic in avocado oil or olive oil
  • Mix together all ingredients
  • Form into equal sized meatballs, makes about 20
  • Place on lightly greased baking sheet
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F
  • **I ate the meatballs with chickpea pasta & sauce!**
